- They look, act, and move like a living thing
- Viruses die like all life should at a certain point
- Adapts and changes to better its survival in effecting organisms. Changing to avoid medicine and vaccines
Non-Living
- Requires a host cell to reproduce. Cannot do it on its own like all living organisms do
- Has to eat to make energy and produce waste. Viruses do not do these things
- Have no cell Organelles or cytoplasm. How can a living thing function with no organs..?
- A virus does not grow, it stays with a similar biomass all its life
